You browse a website, reading some paragraph and clicking on some links, colored with blue and neatly underlined. Then, nothing happens. You start wondering why. You clicked the link again. Still, nothing happens. You clicked the link again, again and again.
This situation happened when the browser crashed. Actually it is busy working on some online data in the background and does not has much time to respond to your need. If you are using Google Chrome 6 and it crashes a lot, here are three steps I suggest you to do.

Tips #1: Always defrag the registry in your computer.
Always prepare an umbrella before the rain comes, like people said. Registry acts like a brain for your computer. If a software crashes, it means the 'brain' is not clean or maybe it thinks too hard until it cannot perform any task and cannot give you what you have asked for.
To make sure the browser you are using runs smoothly, you need to defrag your computer registry several times in a week. I recommended you to do registry defragmentation using utility softwares such as Advanced Windows Care, TuneUp Utilities or Glary Utilities available for free download.
You can perform registry defragmentation on Monday, Wednesday and Friday or at least twice in a week depends on your computing activity.
Tips #2: Enable history, cookies, password and personal data storage.
Your preferred browser can remember your personal data, if you do the right setting. After a browser crashes, it can restores the last opened webpage. To do this, the browser need to 'remember' all your data during the last time you have opened the webpage.
To activate this feature, please allow your browser to remember surfing history, cache, cookies and passwords. You can do the step in Google Chrome by clicking to Tools -> Options - Personal Stuff. Each time the browser recovers from a crash, it displays up the same webpage just like the last time you opened them.
Tips #3: Disable the browser using Windows Task Manager.
If your browser crashes a lot and you want to use an easy way out, press Ctrl + Tab + Del key on your keyboard. The combination of those keys will activate Windows Task Manager on screen.
To disable Google Chrome while crashes, select it's icon by clicking the name of the browser 'Application' tab, then you need to click 'End Task' button in left bottom section of Task Manager window. When clicked, this button will 'kill' the browser right away so you can open up a new one for another smooth browsing.
Each time Google Chrome crash, don't panic.
Use three steps above to coupe up with the unexpected crashes.
